Mistaking you for a new Team Rocket recruit, he quickly provides you with a Team Rocket uniform before going about his business. When you do, you'll run into a photographer.
Head down the stairs once inside, and begin to walk southward and to the right. Said disguise is located in the tunnel system underneath the city, which can be breached via a smaller building due south of the Radio Tower. But first, you'll need to find a disguise that will grant you access.
It's a gray building near the northern side of town. Your goal here is to reach the Radio Tower, which is on the western end of the city. Indeed, when you walk around, you'll find Team Rocket operatives everywhere, blocking the entrances of most buildings, and generally causing an unnecessary disturbance. When you arrive, you'll find that Goldenrod City has changed a considerable amount since your last arrival, as it's now occupied by the evil forces of Team Rocket. Simply use your Fly ability to get there automatically. So what are you to do? Well, many clues will point you in the same direction, for it's time to head back to the metropolis known as Goldenrod City.ĭon't go overland to get to Goldenrod City. We haven't been to Blackthorn City yet for a reason - it's due east of Mahogany Town, and even with the seventh badge in hand, you still can't leave the town towards the east (you'll be stopped from advancing automatically if you try). Unfortunately, getting that eighth badge is going to be delayed for a little while, simply because it's located in Blackthorn City. But there's still more work to be done, for now, it's time to go after our eighth badge.
You have seven badges now, making you a veritable powerhouse in the realm of Pokemon training.
